Chris is the Learning and Evaluation Officer at Greater Texas Foundation, leading efforts to facilitate data-driven decision making and ensure the foundation’s philanthropic investments have a measurable impact on postsecondary education outcomes. Chris originally joined the foundation as a member of its grants management team in October 2017 following eight years of work in nonprofit and educational institutions where he had focused on fundraising, partnership building, and management of grant-funded programs. His previous professional stops include the Center on Conflict and Development and the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology, both at Texas A&M University, and Bat Conservation International in Austin, Texas.
Chris received his M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, and he completed a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish at Texas A&M University. A proud husband and father of three children, he loves family road trips, serves in the PTO, and enjoys Aggie sports.
