As Director of Grants Management, Carol guides the administrative heartbeat of the foundation’s grantmaking. She oversees the full grant lifecycle with a steady, thoughtful approach, ensuring that every step is efficient, compliant, and aligned with the foundation’s mission. Her work strengthens systems, supports staff, and helps create a smoother experience for grantees and colleagues alike.
Carol earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Shippensburg University. After several years working directly in the field, she found her way into philanthropy — a path she has followed ever since. In 2007, she moved to Texas to join the foundation as its first Grant Manager, and in 2017 she became Director of Grants Management as the team expanded.
When she’s not immersed in grants and systems, Carol is happiest in the company of her dogs — or really, any dogs at all. Her love for four-legged friends is well-known and wholeheartedly embraced.
