Many students—especially low-income and first-generation learners—lack access to college readiness support during the school day. With a $430,600 grant from Greater Texas Foundation, CollegeSpring will train 300 Rio Grande Valley high school math and English teachers to integrate college readiness into core instruction, expanding access for students who might not otherwise receive this support. By strengthening readiness and reducing the need for developmental coursework, the project will increase postsecondary opportunity while saving students time and tuition.
