Texas A&M University-Texarkana will continue to support students of color through their Creating & Reclaiming Opportunities for Women Nationally (CROWN) and Personal Achievement Through Help (PATH) programs with a $249,084 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. CROWN & PATH are complementary programs serving women and men of color respectively and focus on creating places of belonging for students of color at TAMU-Texarkana. Students participating in these programs have the opportunity to join student groups and other social events that celebrate students’ cultural histories. The CROWN & PATH programs also connect students with academic and career resources to build student capacity for success.
