The Valley Initiative for Development and Advancement (VIDA) will assist 100 low-income women in completing postsecondary training with a $200,000 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. VIDA will provide support services and career counseling to women living in the Rio Grande Valley, particularly in rural areas of the region. This work will positively impact the lives of the individuals served, the lives of their children, employers’ access to trained employees, and the economy of the Rio Grande Valley.
