The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) will partner with Excelencia in Education to launch a three-year Adult Learner 360 Academy for Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) with a $499,897 grant from Greater Texas Foundation. CAEL and Excelencia will provide a process that will allow HSIs to examine how they are serving their adult students, share their strengths and challenges with peers, and implement new policies and practices to drive adult Latino students’ enrollment, persistence, and completion. The Academy is made possible with grant support from The Kresge Foundation, Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Greater Texas Foundation. Funds from GTF will support the participation of five Texas institutions in the academy.
