Closing Service Gaps for Student Parents at Rural Institutions

Student parents at rural Texas colleges often face gaps in services and limited access to coordinated supports. With a $383,216 grant from Greater Texas Foundation, Trellis Strategies will launch the Rural Student Parent Pathways Project to convene a Community of Practice and provide research and technical assistance to 16 rural-serving institutions. The project will help colleges identify service gaps and adopt evidence-based strategies to strengthen support for parenting students statewide.
