Texas data shows that 29% of people ages 18-24 are enrolled in a college or university in rural communities and 42% of adults in these regions hold a degree or credential. A $1,118,985 grant from Greater Texas Foundation to Collegiate Edu-Nation (CEN) will help support the expansion of Year 13/14 pathways for recent high school graduates and the launch of the Edu-REACH program for adult learners. The Year 13/14 initiative ensures that learners who begin dual credit coursework in high school can transition to postsecondary education seamlessly with targeted supports and success coaching to achieve a degree or certification while gaining hands-on learning experiences. The Edu-REACH initiative provides adults over the age of 18 with accessible workforce training, hybrid learning options, and credentialing programs for high-demand careers.
