Colleges are looking for student success strategies that are proven to work—and that can be implemented at low cost using existing campus resources. With a $160,033 grant from Greater Texas Foundation, the Behavior Change for Good Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania is partnering with six Texas universities to evaluate eight low-cost, evidence-based interventions aimed at improving first-year academic performance and persistence. Participating Texas campuses will get research findings and implementation toolkits to support their adoption of the most effective programs.
