Kate joined the foundation as its project associate in December 2008. Her primary responsibility is assisting the executive director in daily tasks to support a variety of short-term and long-term aspects for the programs, projects and activities of the Greater Texas Foundation.
Kate graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University as a full-time graduate student. Kate graduated in May 2009 from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service, with a Masters Degree in Public Service Administration and a concentration in nonprofit management as well as a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership.
Outside of school and work, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her other interests include camping, fly fishing, running and spending time at the lake and in the mountains. Kate and her husband live in College Station.
