Judy served as the foundation’s interim executive director and first CEO in 2006. Prior to that her service began in 1987 as the first employee with one of Greater Texas Foundation’s former subsidiary organizations.
Since January 2007, Judy has acted as a consultant to the foundation primarily in the management of the foundation’s student loan portfolio to include acquisitions; administration of the student loan financing vehicle; liaison to trustee, credit provider, servicers and other third parties. Judy became a member of the Board of Directors in April 2009, and currently serves on the Student Loan and Charitable Activities committees.
Judy holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas A&M University. She enjoys working with several civic organizations such as: The Prenatal Clinic, The Woman’s Club, Junior League of Bryan College Station, Leadership Brazos, Habitat for Humanity, Voices for Children (CASA) and Still Creek Ranch. She is married to Larry Holt, and they have one son.
