Carol joined the foundation in July 2007 as its first grant manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the grants management process and developing the foundation’s procedures for best practices in grantmaking. She will also work to integrate the use of technology for maintaining grant information and in particular for the foundation’s grant application process.
With more than ten years experience in grantmaking, Carol previously worked as the Grants Management Coordinator for the John Templeton Foundation located outside Philadelphia, PA. While there, her grant work also included coordinating the RFP unit and acting as the website liaison for the grants department.
Carol received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Shippensburg University. After working in her field for several years, she happened upon employment in the world of philanthropy and has maintained that career path ever since.
Outside of work, Carol enjoys contemporary art, music, home improvement shows, and anything that has to do with her dogs.
