Mr. Donald Engelage

Mr. Donald Engelage received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1958.   He went on to join the United States Air Force, where he flew B52 bombers for a  majority of his career.  Mr. Engelage retired as a Colonel in the USAF in February 1979.  Upon retiring from the Air Force Mr. Engelage entered the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he earned his Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance. After completing his masters degree, he work at the University of Nebraska as the Director of Student Financial Aid.  Eventually, Mr. Engelage transferred to Texas A&M where he completed his career, retiring as Executive Director Emeritus in the Department of Student Financial Aid in 1999.

Mr. Engelage is a member of Greater Texas Foundation’s board, serving since 1994 and he currently serves as the board secretary. He is also a member of  the Executive Committee, Charitable Activities Committee and serves as chair of the Student Loan Committee.

He lives in Bryan, TX with his wife, Marlene.
