$50,000 to Head Start of Greater Dallas (HSGD) to support implementation and evaluation of the Hands on Science Outreach curriculum. The HSGD curriculum involves both classroom instruction and activities parents can conduct with children at home. It is designed to introduce the sciences to children at a very young age and includes lessons on anatomy, chemistry, earth science, color and light, sound, and solar energy.
